OUR CAT BEHAVIOURIST
Our Animal Behaviourist, Dionna Newton, is a Cat Behaviourist and the founder of Animal Behaviour Australia. She specialises in assisting people in understanding their cat, and in helping them with their cat's behaviour problems, finding solutions in just 90 minutes. As an Animal Behaviourist, she has accumulated over 20 years of experience conducting animal behaviour consultations. She hails from the UK and holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree. She dedicated her Honours project to researching animal behaviour. Dionna began studying Animal Psychology at university and then specialised in Pet Animal Psychology at COAPE (Centre of Applied Pet Ethology). She is affiliated with the COAPE Association of Behaviourists and Trainers International (CABTI).
With her expertise as a Cat Behaviourist, she understands the thoughts,
emotions, and behaviours of cats. While some label her a Cat Whisperer,
she is actually skilled in Cat Psychology. Dionna possesses knowledge of animal cognition, emotions, and behavioural patterns. Put simply, she knows why cats do what they do!
